You’ve seen my video on the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint, right? Well if not, you’re slacking and should check it out here: Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint “Uncensored” Review & Demo on WOC
Not because it’s GoodGirlGoneFab approved, but because every Fab needs a good red lip and this one is a “Universal” red for every skin tone. Fenty Beauty is all about inclusion and diversity! They hit the nail on the head with finding a lip for everyone. But what makes this liquid lipstick different from the dozens of others I have in my collection? Read below and see!
- No lip liner is needed! — (If you apply it correctly) Liquid lipsticks are hard to master and the intense colors can be too much for certain skin tones, making the color look awkward and ill placed. However, Fenty did a great job of making a very pigmented color but somehow it doesn’t look awkward on the lips.
- It’s not a traditional matte finish! — It’s for sure marketed as a matte lip, but once you apply you can tell it’s a non drying formula. It dries down to a “soft” matte finish where it’s not shiny but it’s super light and literally soft on the lips. Most other matte formulas can be a bit harsh on the lips.
- One swipe and you’re done!– I promise I used one coat total for both my top and bottom lip with this lipstick. I had to, in fact, wipe off the excess to make sure I had an even and thin layer! This formula can be very wet which helps the intensity but can also be overwhelming if you’re not careful.
- The applicator is crazy precise! — Traditionally a liquid lipstick has a doe foot applicator. This is standard in the beauty industry, but the Stunna Lip Paint has a unique design that is smaller and lets you get super close to the lip lines!
