March 24th. The day I’ve been waiting for. The ANTI World Tour came to Michigan. Believe it or not, this was my first time going to a Rihanna headlining tour. Back in 2014, I went to the her three city tour with the Detroit native, Eminem, for the Monster Tour. While it was great, I needed to attend Rihanna’s tour. So of course when the dates were announced, I made it very clear that I would be there.
I could give a full review on how amazing the show was, but in short. Rihanna’s ANTI World Tour is a complete and honest interpretation of her new album, ANTI. (If you haven’t already, go buy it. Or at least stream it.) The album is deep, sexy, raw and against the stereotypical pop album that most assumed it would be. It’s very close to being one of my favorite Rihanna’s albums, in competition with Talk That Talk and Unapologetic. 
Aside from seeing Rihanna in person and performing. I was most excited for dressing for the occasion. It’s not often that I go out and get super fancy but Rihanna deserves me at my best. Haha. It’s been super long since I’ve done a style post but since I was very confident in this outfit, I though I’d share how I decided to go to the show.
The first thought of what to wear to this concert was to be simple. But of course fab. A simple, but sexy denim dress with knee-high black cut out boots fit my style and the occasion perfectly.
