Liquid lipsticks are a gift from the makeup goddesses. Every major makeup brand has their own signature liquid lipstick formula but which ones are GoodGirlGoneFab approved? While I haven’t tried every liquid lipstick out there, I know which formulas work great for me and I always recommend! Check out my favorite liquid lipsticks and comment your favorites too!
- I’m not sure if this is technically a liquid lipstick but the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream is my favorite drug store lip product, ever. It’s about $6, comes in 34…thirty four…shades! I promise there’s a shade in the collection that you’ll be obsessed with. It’s a cream formula and when it dries it is a matte, lipstick that you’ll get so many compliments on. My favorite shade is “Transylvania”, a deep rich purple that is perfect for an edgy look. I will say that it’s not as long lasting as the others on this list but it’ll get the job done.
- Kat Von D’s Everlasting Lipsticks are a cult favorite because they’re lightweight and “life proof”, as Kat calls them. When I wear this lipstick it reallllyyy lasts all day. I’m pretty hard on my lips and I’m always forgetting I have on lipstick, but this lipstick stays put. Vegan and 100% cruelty free, everyone should have at least one of these lippies ( I love “Lolita,”) in their kit. It’s $20 at Sephora or KatVonDBeauty.com, and it’s available in 31 shades.
- I just recently purchased the Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in “Devotion”, for $9 from CVS and I can’t wait to get my hands on another shade soon. I was first impressed by the smell, it reminds me of butter creme frosting (deliciousness). Along with the amazing smell, this liquid lipstick is pigmented! A little goes a long way and for less than $10, it’s very impressive. It’s claimed to last up to 16 hours, it’s for sure kiss proof and it’s available in 33 shades online.
- There’s an older post on GGGF, where I raved about The Lip Bar’s “Savage” liquid lipstick. It’s been months and I still love this chocolate colored lippie just as much as the first day I got it. Supporting a black owned business and woman from Detroit, meant the world to me. So the fact that the products are actually great too, was just an added bonus. This liquid lipstick is underrated honestly, it can last ALL DAY and it feels so soft on the lips. When I say that this liquid lipstick is needed…I mean it. It’s a non drying lippie that’s only $13 too.
- Lime Crime is infamous for many reasons but one thing I can’t deny is that I really do love their lipsticks. Their Liquid Matte Velvetines Lipstick come in over 35 beautiful deeply pigmented shades. I don’t know why I don’t reach for them more, but they’re a silent killer in my vault. I bought “Fetish,” a deep plum color, a few months ago and it’s been reliable ever since. You can get one online for $20.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills not only makes great brow products, but great liquid lipsticks for $20. I finally purchased my first ABH Liquid Lipstick last week in the color “Trust Issues,” and I’ve already worn it three times. The formula is relaxing on the lips, meaning I barely even know that I’m wearing a lipstick because it feels so light. But don’t get it confused because the color payoff is great and available in over 35 shades.
